Christ is risen!
On Sunday, May 22nd, shortly after Divine Liturgy, we will continue the class on early Christian literature, this time focusing on the letters of Ignatius of Antioch. This class is intended to help the participants to see how the Orthodox Church is indeed that church founded by Christ and his apostles, and to help them appropriate these works for themselves. We will discuss Ignatius's epistle to the Trallians. Participants are encouraged to read the text ahead of time and come with any questions they have, but anyone is welcome to join whether they have read it or not!
Ignatius's epistle to the Trallians can be found for free online via New Advent, and can also be purchased from SVS Press as part of a collection including the pseudo-Ignatian epistles.
